Terms and Conditions

All gymnasts & parents at Coolmine Gymnastics Club are required to abide by the Code of Conduct set out to ensure the protection of our gymnasts. Please read through Gymnastics Ireland’s Code of Conducts for: Young Gymnasts here and Parents/Guardians here.
Gymnastic Ireland have a Mandatory Membership agreement which can be viewed here . By agreeing to our terms and conditions you are also consenting to the agreement on their form.
Child safeguarding Policies:
Gymnastics Ireland provides sporting activities and opportunities for young people though participation in clubs, national events and our national teams. Gymnastics Ireland is committed to safeguarding children and affiliated clubs work under the guidance of our Safeguarding Policies. All our volunteers and staff working with our young people, throughout the organisation, seek to create a safe environment for young people to participate in our activities.

Fees, Registration & Refunds:
1. Payments are by monthly subscription on the 1st of each month via the Class for Kids system – cash, cheque or bank transfer are not accepted.
2. If you wish to cancel a class/subscription, please email coolminegymnastics@yahoo.co.uk with your Gymnast's name, date of birth and the class they are attending. This must be done at least one week in advance of the next payment due date. Payments already processed cannot be refunded.
3. The annual Gymnastics Ireland membership fee is payable upon booking into a class. This is non-refundable.
General/Class Rules:
Gymnasts:
Gymnasts can wear leotards, leggings, Shorts, T-shirts - Skirts, Jeans, Crop Tops, tights or baggy clothes are not permitted. Gymnasts in Intermediate/Advanced classes and Squad or Development groups must wear Leotards.
Hair should be tied up and tidy. Jewellery and valuables should be left at home.
Shoes which can be easily removed and put back on are preferable, e.g. sliders/crocs or Velcro fastenings. Gymnasts will be removing shoes and socks before entering the Gym.
Gymnasts will need a drink (preferably water in a reusable bottle with their name on it).
Mobile phones are not permitted inside the training area.
Parents:
Please arrive on time for drop off and collection and remind your child that classes are drop and go unless stated otherwise. There is a small waiting area at the gym with limited viewing.
The taking of photos or videos from viewing areas is not permitted.
Children in Pre-school classes must already be 3 years old and independent in the bathroom. In line with our safeguarding policies, Parents are not permitted in the Gym and Coaches are not allowed help Gymnasts with this.
Parking is limited close to the Gym. Please be mindful of our neighbours when parking by not blocking entrances and gates, specifically HVSM electronic gates. Please do not use Hanley's car park.
